Seventh Kingdom's AUGUST event is HOURS away!!!

Now! For the announcements that need to be made for the upcoming event!!! (Please be sure to read over this even if you have past months as things change month to month!!!)

-The forecast is looking to be PERFECT for LARPing! Although the days are warm, the nights have a chance to become a little chilly. Be sure to pack your Seventh Kingdom Hoodie!

-Special Request for NPCs: Make sure to wear all black clothing, a belt, and comfortable shoes. We strongly suggest to our NPCs to bring fluids to keep in NPC land.

-Meal servings (meals other then the feast) will be $2 as usual with in-game money now being charged for in game drinks. More about this can be found on the Forums.

-We will be playing at Camp Amity Acres, more information on this camp can be found here. The camp is also a little tricky to get to, please check out this Forum post here for detailed information.

-Staff will be arriving on camp early Friday afternoon to begin set up. Players can begin arriving on camp 4:00 pm if you're interested in helping us set up. Check In will begin at 5:00-5:30 pm and continue until lay-on (9:30ish). Keep in mind if you help us set up or clean up Sunday morning you will be able to gain an extra build.

-Check In will take place in the back of the Inn building.

-If you arrive late (very late Friday night) just ask for Tina, Logistics Director. Players and staff should be able to point you in the right direction. If she is not currently busy in plot she will be more then happy to help you check in. (Tina also plays the character known as Annie, the innkeeper.) Please keep in mind that if you DO arrive late that there will most likely be a delay in your checking in. We will accommodate you to the best of our ability.

-There are some important camp announcements in the post below this one. Be sure to read over it!!!

-We can only accept cash and checks. Checks can be made out to Project Omega LLC. To help the process run faster, exact change is appreciated! The below list is what you would need money for:

• The event is $45.
• To NPC an entire event is $10, food is included and you get full build (5).
• An extra build is an additional $10.
• 10 build can be purchased for $100 (this can only be done once a character's life).
• Black lanyards with 'Seventh Kingdom IGE' printed on in white will also be up for sale for a price of $2.
• You will have the chance to start a tab for your character in game. The money on the tab will be available in the inn to purchase food and drinks (breakfast, lunch, and Friday night dinner). This is provided to our players so they don't have to carry around their money in the woods.

Seventh Kingdom IGE will be holding our 13th event this weekend!

As a reminder, the event will be held at Amity Acres. There are some important annoucements that need to be made concerning the camp site.

• Amity Acres is a little trickier to get to than normal camps. The address that the camp is under does not work in GPS units or MapQuest, instead when the address is entered into a GPS unit, it brings you 5-6 miles away from the entrance to the camp. To help our players in finding this camp we have started a topic for discussion on the Forums, here. We also highly suggest you follow the directions on the event page, here.
• There are NO beds, no mattresses, no cots, no bunkbeds, nothing on the entire camp. Everyone is responsible for bringing their own beds, cots, mattresses, etc.
• There is a possibily that you will get wet this weekend. Please bring a swimsuit and towel.

Our one year event. Days away. Can you believe it?!?!

Just thinking back to our Beta event and our first event, it's just wild to see how far we've progressed. How many friends we've made and how many lessons we've learned. We're looking forward to many more years and we couldn't or can't do it without each and every one of you!!!

There are few updates/announcements that need to be made:

- We will be at Camp Kettle Run for this weekend. And we will be at Amity Acres, August 27-29 for the August event. More information will be posted shortly.

- Check-In will begin at 4:00pm. This is because of the large number we're expecting and our goal is to keep lay-on at a reasonable time. Check-In at this time will take place in Conte. With Check-In being moved up, players are allowed to arrive at camp earlier then usual to set up their own personal

- We are in need of NPCs for Saturday day and night. Friday NPC slots are closed due to the large amount of NPCs that night. Please let us know ASAP if you're interested!

- This month is the last month that you will be able to Buy Back July 2009. If you're interested in buying back July '09, just let Tina know during check-in.

- The weather is looking to be clear, sunny and warm. We STRONGLY suggest that everyone bring some sort of fluids. (Jugs of water, cases of Gatorade, etc.)
