FEAT OVERVIEW:
Dodge

Basic, Melee/Ranged Defense
Effect: You may invoke this defense feat in response to a weapon strike or a melee/ranged feat that struck you within the last five seconds. With this feat, you negate the effects of your opponent’s attack against you. This feat cannot be used while you are ensnared or slowed and cannot be used against attacks that come from behind and strike you in the back. You may not use this feat if you are wearing metallic armor, unless that armor is chainmail.
Endure Pain
1 SP
Complex, Pain Defense
Effect: When hit by a Pain effect, such as Cripple Limb or Daze, you can negate its effects by invoking this feat within 5 seconds of the attack.
Flee the Scene
1 SP
Basic, Escape
Effect: After 10 seconds of fleeing (“Fleeing 1, Fleeing 2, Fleeing 3…), you may invoke this feat to take yourself out of the game (and therefore unable to be chased) for five minutes. You may only use this feat if (1) there is an avenue of escape for you to travel and (2) you are running while you invoke the countdown.
While you are counting down, any effect that would slow you or stop you in your tracks (such as snare or confuse) will prevent you from escaping. Invoking a defense feat will allow you to resume your count. Taking damage will not stop you from escaping unless the damage is enough to take you down.
Knockback

Basic Ranged/Melee Knockback, Force
Effect: To use this feat, you must forgo dealing damage with a weapon strike that targets the opponent’s torso area. In mid-swing or mid-throw, invoke “Knockback 10." If the strike lands and is undefended, your target must move himself backward 10 steps.
Expert Knockback: This use of Knockback does not cost SP. Certain abilities grant the use of an Expert Knockback when certain conditions are fulfilled.
Pursue Quarry

Complex, Detect Escape
Effect: You may invoke this feat when someone invokes “Flee the Scene” or any other escape ability. You exit the game for one minute (holding your weapons and your hands above your head) and can follow your target to wherever she goes. The distance between yourself and your quarry must remain the same as when she invoked the Escape feat.
When she enters the game (puts down her hands), so do you. If she should attempt to escape again, the onus is upon you to stop it somehow or to pursue again.
Resist Possession

Basic, Spell Defense
Effect: When attacked by a Possession or Domination attack, you can negate it by invoking this feat within 5 seconds of the attack.
Sense Deception
1 SP
Basic, Detect Deception
Effect: You may invoke this feat during a conversation when you believe someone is lying to you or deceiving you. Invoke this feat and they can nod their head for “Yes, I just lied” or shake their head for “No, I didn’t lie.
You can also use this feat to determine whether someone is using a disguise, although it will not reveal who is behind the disguise.
Special: The Poker Face skill will make a character immune to lie detection feats and spells such as this feat.
Sense Hidden

Basic, Detect Hidden
Effect: When you suspect that there might be hidden enemies about you can choose to spend 10 seconds observing the area. After those ten seconds, you can invoke this feat to be able to see one hidden character. You can even point him out to your comrades. To reveal other enemies, you need to spend another 10 seconds observing before you can invoke this feat again and point to another hidden character.
