Overview: While other professions delve in the mundane and the magicless, the Alchemist is steeped in the art of change - changing ordinary to extraordinary and changing one element into another. With a laboratory and components, an Alchemist can change a component into different kind, implant elements into dangerous infusions or create talismans that can protect and augment the bearer. While relatively expensive, the work of an Alchemist is always called for and always needed – there’s always someone out there that needs transmuting, augmenting or protecting and they’re always ready to pay the price for Alchemy.
Creating Alchemical Items always requires a laboratory, elemental components and at least 10 minutes of creation.
BASIC ALCHEMIST: A first level character that chooses Alchemist as their first Profession may choose one of the following:

SKILL OVERVIEW:
Elementalist
This skill allows you to utilize basic Elementalist formulae.
-Expert Elementalist: You may utilize complex Elementalist formulae. When using attack elementalisms of your creation, you inflict 3 more damage than normal.
-Master Elementalist: You may utilize erudite Elementalist formulae. When using a weapon or a spell that has been affected by one or more of your enhancement Elementalisms, you inflict one more point of damage.
Talismanry
This skill allows you to utilize basic Talismanry formulae.
-Expert Talismanry: You may utilize complex Talismanry formulae. Furthermore, you may use one of your Talismans one more time before it needs recharging. -Master Talismanry: You may utilize erudite Talismanry formulae. Furthermore, you may enchant your belt with a talismanry formula, although it must have a stone attached to it.
Transmutation
This skill allows you to utilize basic Transmutation formulae.
-Expert Transmuter: You may utilize complex Transmutation formulae. Once per period, you may invoke this rank of the skill to take half effect from an instance of elemental damage.
-Master Transmuter: You may utilize erudite Transmutation formulae. Once per period, you may invoke this rank of the skill to take minimal effect from an instance of elemental damage.
Analyze Item
With this skill, you can determine the abilities of an unknown magic item. It takes 5 minutes of analysis to perform this skill.
Special: Athenaeum
Aura-Sight
You can invoke this skill after examining a person for 5 seconds. Upon its invocation, the target of your examination must tell you what latent effects he has and if he is poisoned, diseased or cursed.
Disjunct Item
This skill can be used to disjunct alchemical items. When used in conjunction with the appropriate profession skill, this skill can be utilized to dismantle an item and scavenge most of its component parts.
When fighting an unknown monster, you may invoke this skill and ask “What are you?” to find out the name of whatever you are fighting. You get no other information, although further research in the subject can provide you with information.
