Overview: The Talismonger uses talismans to grant augment his allies’ abilities and ward them from harm. Wearing a Talisman is considered a latent effect and thus, is subject to the limit. Furthermore, one can only have up to four talismans (head, neck, two hands)
Talismans contain magical power. This magical power can be unleashed to ward or the augment the wearer, who can only activate Talismans if they are attuned to them. After this magic is unleashed, a talisman can be used again, but requires recharging. Normally, they recharge off of the wearer’s spiritual power. When they are expended, they are usually useful again after a little while. Basic Talismans are only useful once a period. Complex Talismans are useful once per hour. Erudite Talismans recharge after every short rest.
After they are created, Talismans need to be re-attuned now and then. Every moon, a talisman needs re-attunement. This require a sacrifice of an elemental component. One needs an alchemist, preferably the very one that made the Talisman to do this.
Using a Talisman: To use a Talisman, one must invoke its name including the word "Talisman" to identify that you are using a Talisman.
Phys Reps: Circlet/Mask, Amulet/Torc and 2 Rings/Bracelet plus Ciphers for them all. They all need to have stones on them.
An Alchemist can choose to learn a Formula, memorizing the patterns and procedure in his brain. All Formulae costs 3 build to learn. Only the most dedicated Alchemists choose to do this, the rest jealously guard their AlchemyTomes, laying traps and decoys for rivals to find.
