Clean Up
As you all know... Clean up is not mandatory. What do I mean by this? I mean you do not have to clean up any mod sites, NPC areas, NPC building, the Inn, the bathrooms, the parking lots, the path ways, and the kitchen. We always appreciate help and will reward 1 build to everyone who does help clean this above mentioned areas.
What players DO need to clean are their personal areas (camp site used, tents, bunks, etc.).
It should be very simple rule for everyone to understand and keep in mind. It should also be pretty obvious. We are all adults and should act that way, be responsible.
A messy campsite is unacceptable. ALL trash must be picked up along with everything being put the same way you found it. We actually prefer that you go above and beyond the call of duty and leave it better then how you found it. Which isn't saying much since the camps are usually decently clean. If you need anything to help clean up your site (brooms, trash bags, etc.) do not hesitate to come and ask staff. We will be more then happy to provide these items for you to use. If any damage does occur we require that you inform us immediately.
There should be no excuse.
We also know where each and every player is sleeping. If your area is left dirty, staff will be in contact with you shortly.
Smoking
This is also something that has gotten out of hand. These past few months we have been lenient where people smoked. We understand the annoyance to walk to a certain area to smoke and to walk back especially during the colder months. We also understand the saying 'do not bite the hand that feeds.' As of this minute the ONLY areas where players are allowed to smoke the entire weekend are the parking lots. Both by the Inn and by Conte.
No ifs, ands, or butts.
And speaking of butts all players must either keep their butts on their person until they can dispose of it in a trash can or we will be providing a sand filled pail in both parking lots for the disposal of butts.
If a player is seen smoking anywhere else other then the parking lots or is seen throwing their butts into the woods they will be pulled aside and spoken too. If someone continues to do so they will be asked to leave. If we still continue to have problems with smoking, smoking will be banned from the property. To begin with there is suppose to be no smoking allowed anywhere on the property at all so I'm sure the Ranger would appreciate this.
I will also mention that if you think you can run, hide in the woods and grab a quick smoke with no staff around be forewarned. Not only has staff already thought of this and is taking the necessary measurements, many of the players themselves are fed up with the butts littering the ground and the smoking while we're all standing in a group. Someone will see you and if a player reports another player we will not shrug it off lightly. Not everyone can tolerate the smell of smoke and some people can actually become sick from it. In the beginning all of the smokers were very considerate but it has declined so fast that we need to take action.
Many other games seem to have these exact issues and I was hoping we could avoid them ourselves, unfortunately I have been proved wrong and I hope we can all accept this as adults and learn from it.
