Welcome and Warm Wishes

U.S. Flag

To all players and guests:

We hope you're enjoying a safe and relaxing Memorial Day weekend filled with family and friends.

We'd like to take this opportunity to give public recognition and respect to those who gave their lives in service of our country.

We've also had some new inquiries in the past few weeks due to help of our players and the power of the press. New players are always welcome at Seventh Kingdom! Please feel free to register on our forums and search or post questions there. You can also e-mail specific questions directly to us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Thank you and have a relaxing holiday.

The May event is tomorrow!

Seventh Kingdom's MAY event is HOURS away!!!

Now! For the announcements that need to be made for the upcoming event!!! (Please be sure to read over this even if you have past months as things change month to month!!!)

-The forecast is looking to be beautiful BUT please keep in mind that the camp is high on a mountain and further north so plan on it being 10 degrees cooler of what the weather is forcasted to be. We much prefer our players to be warm and comfortable rather then cold, we've all learned from last month.

-The gate at the bottom of the mountain will be locked most of the event. To enter locate the combo lock painted red and enter the code 1337. This will unlock the gate and allow you access. Make sure you lock the gate behind you. The Ranger went out of his way to accommodate us with our own special lock for our events.

-PARKING. This is extremely important as Eric Heppel can attest to. We were informed last event that part of the parking lot has a natural spring under which makes the ground soggy. Having a car sit there all weekend ends up with a car that is very close to impossible to get out. Hopefully we will be down there early enough to rope off the area, but when you enter the parking lot, the left side as soon as you enter is dangerous ground. I'd give it about 50 or so feet before you begin to park there. We prefer that people park on the right hand side or up closer to the Ranger's House/entrance to the camp.

-Reminder that ONLY the cabins have bunks in them. Please plan accordingly so you can sleep comfortably. The lean to's which are the largest choice of where to sleep have an open wall which let's the elements and bugs/animals in. Our best advice is to bring something to cover the opening (blankets, tarp, etc.) and to keep food out of the lean to's.

-Bugs, bugs, and more bugs. It's that time of year so please remember to bring bug repellents of every kind.

-Special Request for NPCs: Make sure to wear all black clothing, a belt, LOTS OF SOCKS, and to pack waterproof items (black jacket if you have one, boots, hat, etc.). It still gets cold at night so if you plan on NPCing at night be sure to still bring extra warm layers!

-We need NPCs all throughout the weekend so please be sure to sign up for a shift during check-in if you're interested!

-Meal servings (meals other then the feast) will be $2 as usual with in game money now being charged for in game drinks. More about this can be found on the Forums.

-We will be playing at Camp Yaw-Paw, more information on this camp can be found here.

-Staff will be arriving on camp early Friday afternoon to begin set up. Players can begin arriving on camp 3-4 pm if you're interested in helping us set up. Check In will begin at 5:30 pm and continue until lay-on (9:30ish). Keep in mind if you help us set up or clean up Sunday morning you will be able to gain an extra build.

-Check In will take place in the Dining Hall as it did last month.

-If you arrive late (very late Friday night) just ask for Tina, Logistics Director. Players and staff should be able to point you in the right direction. If she is not currently busy in plot she will be more then happy to help you check in. (Tina also plays the character known as Annie, the innkeeper.) Please keep in mind that if you DO arrive late that there will most likely be a delay in your checking in. We will accommodate you to the best of our ability.

-This camp is larger then other camps so there will be a lot of walking (and running) happening, please keep this in mind and make sure you have comfortable shoes. Everything is completely rocky also, so having shoes that help support your ankles is a plus.

-We can only accept cash and checks. Checks can be made out to Project Omega LLC. To help the process run faster, exact change is appreciated! The below list is what you would need money for:

  • The event is $45.
  • To NPC an entire event is $10, food is included and you get full build (5).
  • An extra build is an additional $10.
  • 10 build can be purchased for $100 (this can only be done once a character's life).
  • Black lanyards with 'Seventh Kingdom IGE' printed on in white will also be up for sale for a price of $2.
  • Hoodies will be up for sale for $35
  • T-Shirts will be up for sale for $15
  • If you want both a hoodie and t-shirt is only $45!!!
  • You will have the chance to start a tab for your character in game. The money on the tab will be available in the inn to purchase food and drinks (breakfast, lunch, and Friday night dinner). This is provided to our players so they don't have to carry around their money in the woods.
  • One of our players, Nate Pettyjohn (Doran), will have wares for sale also! Be sure to bring a few extra dollars!
  • Our very own Chiropractor will be there! Have a chance to have a check-up for a minimum donation of $5.

We can't wait to see everyone this weekend!

Chiropractor Announcement!

Have you ever wanted to visit a Chiropractor but cannot due to insurance, time, or money? Are you nervous and scared and unable to take the final step of making an appointment? Or do you not even know who or what a Chiropractor is? Do you have...

Allergies, Migraines, Pain/Tingling/Numbness in any limb, Soreness anywhere on the body, Pain in ankles/legs/knees, and soooo much more!

When your spine is out it effects every single nerve and muscle. Slept wrong and your shoulder hurts? And now your leg hurts and you don't understand? Did you know compensating for one injury will create another, and then another? Having your spine put back into place will have your entire body falling in alignment.

Well good news!!! My father (Dr. Degenhart) will be coming and spending all day Saturday at Seventh Kingdom IGE!

After last month he was surprised to see that LARPers are the perfect candidates for needing a Chiropractor. Sleeping on floors, running around and falling in the woods, usually too busy to go to a doctor, happy with our duct tape remedies, etc. After giving me (Tina Degenhart) a check-up he soon had a line!! First Kitchen Crew and then whoever happened to wander in at the moment.

Helping people is his passion as you'll notice as soon as he convinces people that he's happy to give them a check-up. He enjoyed it so much last month that this month he will actually be bringing his table so he's better able to help each and every one of us.

Dr. Degenhart will be arriving on camp Saturday around 12:00pm and will be there until Saturday night at 12:00am. He will be located some where in the Inn or Kitchen, just ask.

To be seen by him a minimum donation of $5 to Seventh Kingdom is required but as anyone knows just a single visit to ANY doctor is much more expensive then $5, $10, even $20!!

In no way will one adjustment fix all of your problems but it will put you on the right foot to a more healthy and painfree body. Dr. Degenhart suggests that a local chiropractor be found so you can have follow up adjustments.

Dr. Degenhart has over 25 years of experience and has his very own office in Hazleton, PA. If you're interested in learning more about him you can check out his website. Degenhart Chiropractic Health Center.

May Event!

inn

The May event is quickly approaching! Happening next weekend will be our 12th event (counting the beta event)!! Can you believe it's been almost a year since we've started? Neither can we!
As a reminder the May event will be held at Camp Yaw-Paw, so will the June event. As for the July event we are currently working hard to lock in a date at Camp Kettle Run.  Once we have the date locked in we will be sure to post it online right away.

Please do not forget to pre-register so we know who exactly is coming! Also be sure to mention on the May Event Forum Post if you will attending for the food count and plot's morbid curiosity!

The events that bring us closer...

We'd like to take a moment and say thank you. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and attended this past event at Camp Yaw-Paw!

We had a larger turnout then what we expected and the camp was something we were all a little unprepared for but everything turned out amazing! This was a great event to show who really is loyal to Seventh Kingdom and who will go the extra mile (or miles in this case). We are extremely proud of every one of you in dealing with the surprises that this camp continued to give us throughout the weekend. Seventh Kingdom staff is excited about the May event as we now know what to expect and we believe you feel the same! We really do love each and every one of you!!!

Be sure to keep an eye on the site as we will be uploading the pictures, journal and promo video in the next few days!!!
