ROCKtober event has rocked our socks!

This past October event has me beyond words!

First thing I'd like to mention that this event was a huge success! With over 60 players showing up for the event, even with the weather being so cold and rainy, we are extremely excited! The game is only 6 months old and so many of us forget that. We'd like to thank Tara, our marketing director, along with all the players that help spread the word for making this event so successful. The support that I've seen toward Seventh Kingdom is something I've never seen before, and I have a feeling we're just getting started!

With this event behind us staff will be getting together this Tuesday to begin planning for the November event! A reminder for everyone to e-mail their character histories to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it so we can incorporate them into plot.If there are any problems or suggestions we also ask that you send them to that e-mail so we can better help our players and game.

Also, keep in mind that Seventh Kingdom will both be having a table AND a panel at the upcoming Game X convention this weekend! We would love to see some of our players out supporting the game. To learn more about this be sure to check out our Forums!

Thank you again everyone for such an awesome weekend! And here is to many, many more!

P.s. Due to our webmaster being extremely sick we haven't been able to get our winter dates up on the front page yet. So you can plan, they are:

November 13-15
December 11-13
January 22-24
February 19-21
March 26-28

ALL of these dates will be held on Camp Kettle Run in Medford NJ. For directions and info on this camp you can click on any of the links already listed above for the November and December dates.

ROCKtober is HERE!

Seventh Kingdom's ROCKtober event will be held tomorrow!!!

  • Conan didn't always fight off evil-doers in happy sunshiney weather with birds chirping!
  • Chuck Norris didn't always kick peoples' butts when it was 80 degrees out while squirrels frolicked and pranced about! No sir!
  • Will you be man or woman enough to take it to the next level and show this weather who is BOSS?? That's what I thought.

Now! For the announcements that need to be made for the upcoming event!!!

-It is gonna be a bit cold and wet this weekend so make sure you are bringing extra clothing items such as a waterproof jacket of some sort and something warm to wear. Layers are your friend and warm socks will keep your feet from getting cold obviously. Bring extra socks along with comfortable and warm shoes. Fall and winter are a great season because you can really jazz up your costume with extra stuff and not get overheated. If you get too cold, make sure you take a break in our HEATED cozy inn. If you plan on sleeping outside, I highly suggest a decently-rated sleeping bag. We will have more then enough room in the inn and other heated buildings for sleeping.

-Special Request for NPCs: Make sure to wear all black clothing and to pack extra warm black clothing. You may be stuck outside for a bit doing a mod. The players can leave and go warm up in the inn while you are stuck setting up a new mod. Just keep it in mind and please come prepared. Warm socks are your friends as well as warm gloves. Thermals for under your clothes can be an awesome addition.

-After some calculations, the staff at Seventh Kingdom have come to the conclusion that we will have to raise the cost of the meals (not the Feast which is included in your weekend price) to $2 dollars a serving instead of $1 dollar a serving. I have spoken with a number of players who feel this change is completely fair and expected this to happen. And in their words: "A dollar a serving for such awesome food was ridiculously cheap and I almost felt like I was stealing from the game. I'm glad you're raising the price." Hope everyone feels this way.

-There will be no meal provided Friday as the players will be putting on a Summer's End Festival; we ask that everyone that could please bring some sort of food item. Gold and service points will be awarded to each of you who bring something.

-For those that have missed last event we have changed camps! We are no longer at Amity Acres but now at Camp Kettle Run, more information on this camp can be found here.

-Staff will be arriving on camp early Friday afternoon to begin set up. Players can begin arriving on camp 4 pm if you're interested in helping us set up. Check In will begin at 5:30 pm and continue until lay on. Keep in mind if you help us set up or clean up Sunday morning you will be able to gain an extra build.

-Check in will take place in the dining hall located across from the Stokes Building (Annie's Inn). For the people new to the camp, when you enter you will be facing the ranger's house. You will be able to either make a left or right. You want to make that right and head over the land bridge (there is water located on both sides and there is enough room to drive). Continue down this path until you reach a lodge looking building. There will most likely be people and/or cars all around this area so you won't miss it. Signs will be posted to direct you to logistics. Last event check in was moved to the inn but it is no longer there to provide extra room for people to sleep.

-If you arrive late (very late Friday night or anytime Saturday) just ask for Tina, Logistics Director. Players and staff should be able to point you in the right direction. If she is not currently busy in plot she will be more then happy to help you check in. (Tina also plays the character known as Annie, the innkeeper.) Please keep in mind that if you DO arrive late that there will most likely be a delay in your checking in. We will accommodate you to the best of our ability.

-The building (Annie's Inn) we are using for PC sleeping is HEATED and has wooden bunks along with thin mattresses. The Inn has a shower along with a shower house located nearby. There are also real bathrooms (flushing toilets!) Please bring necessary items to make yourself comfortable. There is also limited space in this building. Multiple camp sites are located around the inn along with the Conte Building B which will be used if needed for sleeping. We ask that all players try to find a camp closest to the inn to make their own so we can make sure you're included in the activities. This is the last event there will be tents up since it's going to be cold out, I suggest you sleep inside.

-This camp is MUCH larger so there will be a lot of walking (and running) happening, please keep this in mind and make sure you have comfortable shoes.

-We can only accept cash and checks. Checks can be made out to Project Omega LLC. To help the process run faster, exact change is appreciated! The below list is what you would need money for:

  • The event is $45.
  • To NPC an entire event is $10, food is included and you get full build.
  • An extra build is an additional $10.
  • 10 build can be purchased for $100 (this can only be done once a character's life).
  • Black lanyards with 'Seventh Kingdom IGE' printed on in white will also be up for sale for a price of $2.
  • You will have the chance to start a tab for your character in game. The money on the tab will be available in the inn to purchase food and drinks (breakfast, lunch dinner, along with snacks, bottled water, and Monster). This is provided to our players so they don't have to carry around their money in the woods.
  • Ponchos will be up for sale for $2.

We can't wait to see everyone this weekend!

Locally Famous

Seventh Kingdom IGE was featured in the Burlington County Times on the front page of the County & Region section on Sunday, October 11th. The article is titled "Sometimes a fantasy is just the real thing," written by Kate Fratti. The article also appears online here.

Seventh Kingdom IGE also appeared at The Witches Ball over the weekend. Some of our devoted players staffed the Gypsy encampment and helped with the marketing booth as well as set-up/clean-up. We also ran a successful Victorian paranormal experience called "Ghosts in the Gaslight" -- which sold out! More pictures coming soon.
