Busy October

It's not a secret that the October events at games like ours tend to be a bit over the top. I don't know if its the season or that we all feel we need to contend with the holiday that approaches this time of year, but its a given that most veterans to this type of game know that October is an event that you do not miss.

I am making this post to give a heads up to the "new to this kinda thing" player that you DO NOT want to miss the October event. Well honestly, you don't wanna miss any event but October tends to be a big deal. So consider yourself warned. Make sure you have your request off from work in now. Mark your calendar. Tell your friends and gather your gear. Let's make this October event the biggest event we have had so far.

In addition, we have other events going on during the month (even more than listed here--check the announcement section in the forums for complete info) --

October 10th

Witches Ball in Mount Holly, NJ Mill Race Village

So most of you have heard that we will be at the Witches Ball running a Gypsies Camp and doing a haunted excursion called the Ghost in the Gaslight. (Volunteers to help still welcome but must make contact ASAP at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .)

A: If you show up in your gear and help direct people to the Gypsies Camp or the Ghost in the Gaslight we will offer you service points. Make sure you check in with Tara at our booth near the gypsy camp.

B: There is a costume contest (learn more at www.thewitchesball.com). There is a $100 prize for each category plus a $500 prize for best costume overall. Ladies and gentlemen, most of your AVERAGE gaming gear for Seventh Kingdom is way beyond the costumes you will see during Halloween. Some of our people have costumes that make Hollywood blush. Why not come out...earn service points by dropping our name and possibly earn some cash while you do it. Take advantage of your well chosen recreational past time and get signed up.

October 16th - 17th

Seventh Kingdom October Event!!!

We have shown you what we can do with amazing SFX, great stories and interactive environments. Give us another chance to shatter what you already thought was an excellent rating. I can promise you that October is going to be a great time and really push what you come to expect from any game. Spread the word.

October 23rd - 24th

GameX

We have been invited to come to GameX and run a panel about LARPing. The panel should be Saturday afternoon. We would love to see anyone who can make it there to show support. Some of the staff will be there Friday and be staying over until Saturday late night. If you plan to make it out to GameX drop us a line. A party may not be out of the question. Also GameX is looking for volunteers to help them run different aspects of the convention. I'm sure its nothing amazing but I believe it gets you in for free and helps you make some nice contacts. Anyone interested can contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or you can email Tara ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) directly. Again your service earns you service points which turn into build or special in game rewards.

More info on this partnership forthcoming!

Successful September Event

Thanks so much for a successful September event!

We had wonderful autumn weather welcoming us to our new camp site. It was great to see some new faces as well as many familiar ones.

Be sure to comment on the highlights/lowlights thread in the forum. Providing feedback is the best way to improve the game and to let us know what you like.

We hope to see those who couldn't make it in this event--as well as our new friends from Game Core Con--at the October event! The October event is rumored to hold some spooky surprises.

Thanks to Tristin from GameX who stopped by to provide promotional material for the convention. More information to come on our involvement with GameX. In the meantime, please check out their site.

Congratulations to the two winners of National Halloween Convention tickets (sponsored by Convention Fans). October's raffle item(s) will be announced this week!

Thank you to all the players for making this an excellent event! We greatly appreciate those who helped with set up, clean up, as NPCs, and in the kitchen.

We hope to see you at The Witches Ball on October 10th! Seventh Kingdom IGE staff and players will be involved in a gympsy camp and a special presentation called Ghosts in the Gaslight. If you have expressed interest in helping but have not heard from us yet regarding your involvement, you will hear from us in the next few days; keep your gypsy attire at the ready.

As always, if you have any questions, please e-mail us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

The September Event is HOURS away!

Seventh Kingdom's September event will be held tomorrow!!!

As always there are a few announcements that need to be made.

-We are changing camps this month! We will now be holding our events at Camp Kettle Run. For more information on this camp, how to get there and which buildings we will be using please check out the camp page.

-Staff will be arriving on camp early Friday afternoon to begin set up. Players can begin arriving on camp 4pm if you're interested in helping us set up. Check In will begin at 5:30 pm and continue all night. Keep in mind if you help us set up or clean up Sunday morning you will be able to gain an extra build.

-Check in will take place in the Dining Hall located across from the Stokes Building (the Inn). For the people new to the camp, when you enter you will be facing the Ranger's house. You will be able to either make a left or right. You want to make that right and head over the land bridge (there is water located on both sides and there is enough room to drive.) Continue down this path until you reach a lodge looking building. There will most likely be people and/or cars all around this area so you won't miss it. Signs will be posted to direct you to logistics.

-If you arrive late (very late Friday night or anytime Saturday) just ask for Tina, the Logistics Director. Players and staff should be able to point you in the right direction. If she is not currently busy in plot she will be more then happy to help you check in. (Tina also plays the character known as Annie, the Innkeeper)

-The building we are using for PC sleeping is heated and has wooden bunks along with thin mattresses. Please bring necessary items to make yourself comfortable. There is also limited space in this building. Multiple camp sites are located around the Inn along with the Conte Building which will be used if needed for sleeping. We ask that all players try to find a camp closest to the Inn to make their own so we can make sure you're included in the activities.

-This camp is MUCH larger so there will be alot of walking happening, please keep this in mind and make sure you have comfortable shoes.

-We can only accept cash and checks. Checks can be made out to Project Omega LLC. To help the process run faster, exact change is appreciated! The below list is what you would need money for:

  • The event is $45
  • To NPC an entire event is $10, food is included and you get full build.
  • An extra build is an additional $10.
  • 10 build can be purchased for $100 (this can only be done once a character's life)
  • Black lanyards with 'Seventh Kingdom IGE' printed on in white will also be up for sale for a price of $2.
  • You will have the chance to start a tab for your character in game. The money on the tab will be available in the Inn to purchase food and drinks (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Along with snacks, bottled water and Monster). This is provided to our players so they don't have to carry around their money in the woods.
  • A player of ours, Nate Pettyjohn, will also be setting up a stand to sell things IG for real money.

There has also been mutiple updates on the site these past few days:

-The Freehold Journal has been updated to have more entries in and to have August's event.

-The General Section in the Rule Book is having sections added all day today to help understand some confusions with certain rules and procedures.

-Player Perks have also been added to the General Section! This is great news for all of the players bringing in new players this month, be sure to check it out and make sure you don't miss any perks!

We can't wait to see everyone this weekend! The weather is looking to be perfect fall weather which means perfect gaming weather!!!

Seventh Kingdom Updates!

As you may have noticed ALOT is going on with Seventh Kingdom right now!

  • Seventh Kingdom will be attending the Game Core Convention this Saturday in hopes of getting our name out there! We invite all of you to come visit and support Seventh Kingdom. You can find out more information here
  • Seventh Kingdom has also been invited to help participate in the upcoming Witches Ball in Mount Holly, NJ! We again invite everyone out to come see us and we are still looking for players interested in helping us out! To find out more about that go here!
  • We are now a Calimacil LARP affiliate! This is a huge thing folks! Calimacil has selected only a few games from the United States and we are proud to now say we are on that list! You can find out more about the benefits here.
  • We now have our very own personal phone number where you can call about any questions, concerns, or suggestions. 609.948.GAME We're bringing a whole new meaning to player and staff communication!
  • In efforts to provide our players with something new we've decide to start a raffle each month for our players! I have to admit, some of these items I wish I could sneak away with! You can find more information about the upcoming raffle on the Forums or here. Each month will be something different!

Along with this exciting news we can't forget about the Seventh Kingdom events! The September event is only a few days away and we're extremely excited about this event as we are beginning to incorporate character histories into plot! Also, please keep in mind that we will be moving to camp Kettle Run this month and the rest of the months in the year!!! More information is to come about this camp, but do know that there ARE mattresses and wooden cots in some buildings AND... drumroll please... the major buildings have both A/C and heat! What more could you want during the up coming freezing months? How about chowder/soup/and stew contests? So many pies we don't know what to do with them! Roaring fires and more! If you need any directions please check that out here.

  • Speaking of the September event... Pre-Registration for the September event will remain open until September 16th at 11:59PM. We ask that everyone who can pre-reg please do so. Not only does this give us an idea of how many people are coming (then we know how many mods and meals we need to make) but it also gives us an idea of what characters will be there so we can give plot heads up. You also get the discounted price and the chance to claim a campsite for groups!

Seventh Kingdom staff is striving to make the game better in every way for our players! If you have any comments, questions, concerns or even suggestions please feel free to e-mail any of the staff personally or contact us over the Forums! We always say we can't make things right if we don't know what is wrong. Each and every one of you is very important to us. So thank you very much for participating in and supporting Seventh Kingdom IGE!

As for the website, that also is being updated!

  • The August photos are up in the Photo Gallery.
  • We are finishing up the Freehold Journal.
  • We are working on the Flags for the rest of the Kingdoms.
  • We are also working on the history for the rest of the Kingdoms.
  • New subjects in the General section in the rule book will be added shortly.
  • Among other things!!!
Thank you again for your interest in Seventh Kingdom IGE!
