Seventh Kingdom IGE

Seventh Kingdom's FIRST official event will be held tomorrow!!!

As always there are a few announcements that need to be made. Most of them were made during beta but I'm reposting them for those who missed it the first time or are new.

-The camp is kinda tricky to get to, only because the address it is listed under is confusing. When put into any sort of online map system or GPS it leads you no where near the camp. To prevent any confusion (or at least try to decrease the chance of anyone getting lost) we've start a post on the Forums that can be found here with more information along with a map and directions from Rt. 72. There will be signs posted on the roads when you are closer to the camp.

-Staff will be arriving on camp at 4pm. Check in will start at 6pm. Lay on will start approximately at 8pm. Players can begin arriving on camp at 4pm to help with set up if interested or just to unpack themselves.

-16 or so Girl Scouts will still be on camp until 7pm. We ask that they be left alone as they are asked to do the same for us.

-There is a lot of paperwork for new players, so please keep this in mind. We will try our hardest to make things go as fast as possible. If you arrive and see a line, feel free to go explore camp and begin setting things up/getting into character. Check in does not need to happen as soon as you get there but must be done before lay on.

-If you arrive late (very late Friday night or anytime Saturday) just ask for Tina, the Logistics Director. Players and staff should be able to point you in the right direction. If she is not currently busy in plot she will be more then happy to help you sign in.

-THERE ARE NO BEDS, BUNKS, AND MATTRESSES ANYWHERE ON CAMP... Please keep this in mind! We had a lot of players sleep uncomfortably since they only had a sleeping bag on hand. If you can we suggest bringing a cot or a blow up mattress.

-We can only accept cash and checks. Checks can be made out to Project Omega LLC. To help the process run faster, exact change is appreciated! The below list is what you would need money for:

• The event is $45
• To NPC an entire event is $10, food is included and you get full build.
• An extra build is an additional $10.
• Ponchos will be up for sale for $2. 
• Black lanyards with 'Seventh Kingdom IGE' printed on in white will also be up for sale for a price of $2.
• You will have the chance to start a tab for your character in game. The money on the tab will be available in the Inn to purchase food and drinks (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Along with snacks, bottled water and Monster). This is provided to our players so they don't have to carry around their money in the woods.
• You still have the opportunity to purchase 10 build for $100. This can be done once in a character's life.
• A player of ours, Nate Pettyjohn, will also be setting up a stand to sell things IG for real money.

We can't wait to see everyone next weekend, please keep in mind that there is still time to pre-register.

While I sit here and go through everyone's character cards and type them out, I have to say... wow.

This past beta event was an amazing accomplishment! We had 40+ players show up and if the feedback forms and discussions have anything to do with it, it sounds like we all had a great time!!!

I'd like to throw out there a HUGE thanks to all of our new players for making this a memorable event! Without you this wouldn't be possible. I can't wait to see everyone again in three weeks.

There are a few things I'd like to mention... If anyone took any pictures we would love to have a copy! On the Forums there is a link to the Seventh Kingdom Photobucket Album so pictures can easily be uploaded and later uploaded onto the Seventh Kingdom website. Also, if anyone wrote down anything during the event (talking to the 'scribes' here) if you could please e-mail me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with a copy of what you wrote that would be greatly appreciated! We need to get this info up as soon as possible.

The Beta Event is tomorrow! Could you believe it came that fast?

-Due to some over booking with the Girl Scouts, we will be arriving later on camp then planned. Players can begin arriving around 6pm to sign in and set up. Check in will be open from 6 until 7:45. At 7:45 there will be an Opening Ceremony and by 8pm lay on will take place. Because of the later time players are still heading down early but will most likely be getting together at a local hang out before they arrive on camp. You can read more about this here on the Forums. We apologize for any inconvenience. We were also blind sided when the Directors called us just the other day.

-This IS a beta event. Please keep that in the back of your mind! There are bound to be problems, issues and hold ups throughout the weekend. We of course will try every possible solution to avoid these problems but if something does come up please handle it calmly and maturely and a conclusion will be reached right away. Feedback forms are printed out and will be passed out throughout the weekend, we require players to fill them in to the best of their knowledge. Paperwork is a pain and we understand this, that is why you are earning twice the build this weekend. 

I just want to thank everyone that has helped us out these past few weeks and to the others that have populated the boards!!! You have motivated us to keep going when things got rough. And thank you to all the people interested, whether you'll be able to make this event or not! If you are not we will keep you in our thoughts and we can't wait to see you next month!!! If you are able to make it we can't wait to see you there and you're in for a ride that you won't forget!

Although the Seventh Kingdom team has been working nonstop behind the scenes creating props, buying supplies, and organizing everything from ants to zebras we've also found time to continue working on the website to provide a clear image of the World we are creating.

Now listed are flags for the Labyrinthium and Corpse Kingdoms! At some point each Kingdom will have their own personal flag.

You can find all of these under the Online Rulebook either under Maps or Kingdoms.

We are also planning on putting up pictures of players that best represent their Kingdom, Class, Race or Profession under each of these tabs.
